Tim Horton’s coffee is religiously consumed by many in Canada.  In my last post entitled: Can Drinking Coffee Cause Panic Attacks, I mentioned that coffee and other beverages that have moderate to high levels of caffeine  should be avoided due to the side effects caffeine can produce – which tends to be similar to those produced when experiencing heightened anxiety.

I figured it would be a good idea for the many Canadians reading my blog to know how much caffeine is in their favorite morning beverages.

This information can help you make an informed decision next time you go to Tim Horton’s and avoid the adverse effects that caffeine may have on you.

To avoid the racing heart, shakes and trembles, and the feeling of heightened anxiety that consuming too much coffee (caffeine) can produce,  check out the list below and choose wisely.

COFFEE

Small………………………. 80mg  of caffeine
Medium…………………… 100mg of caffeine
Large………………………. 140mg of caffeine
Extra Large………………. 200mg of caffeine

There is a significant difference  between regular coffee and decaffeinated coffee with little to no difference in taste or flavor. If you want to lower your caffeine intake without giving up your Tim Horton’s morning ritual, ordering a decaffeinated coffee can make a world of difference.

DECAFFEINATED COFFEE
Small…………………………5mg of caffeine
Medium……………………..6mg of caffeine
Large…………………………9mg of caffeine
Extra Large…………………12mg of caffeine

If you are looking for more information regarding the levels of caffeine in other Tim Horton beverages including its teas, iced cappaccinos, and bottled products you can download and print the caffein content pdf document found on Tim Horton’s own website. Click Here to Download.
